Lumi Power Ports
LumiPower is available on ports 1 to 8 on R5 NVR Models (R52-8PA, R52-16PA, R54-32PA)
NOTE: LumiPower requires the use of a LumiPower-enabled switch or NVR port and LumiPower-enabled cameras.
Lumi Power PoE

Technical:

Power Capacity:
  • IEEE 802.3af (PoE) up to 15.4 watts, uses two pairs of wires for power.
  • IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) up to 25.5 watts, uses all four pairs of wires for power.
  • IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) up to 90 watts, uses all four pairs of wires for power.
Device Support:
IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) is suitable for devices with higher power requirements, like PTZ cameras and advanced wireless access points.
Backward Compatibility:
IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE) devices, meaning you can use IEEE 802.3at switches to power IEEE 802.3af devices. IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) is backward compatible to IEEE 802.3at (PoE+).
