Challenge
Following reported safety incidents at Turkey Mountain, the Tulsa River Parks Authority needed to improve visibility across a 750+ acre urban wilderness area with rugged terrain, trail entrances, parking lots, and locations where traditional power and wired connectivity were impractical.
Solution
Working with Midwest Technology and Luminys, the Authority expanded video security across selected parking lots, trail entrances, and remote park areas. Midwest Technology engineered the solar-supported wireless infrastructure, while Luminys cameras and AI-powered video analytics supported deterrence, PTZ visibility, intelligent video search, live video access, and event notifications for authorized teams.

To address the park’s and Recreatione challenges, Midwest Technology engineered an off-grid security network supported by solar power and wireless connectivity. Luminys AI-enabled cameras were deployed across key parking lots and trail entrances, helping extend visibility into areas that were difficult to monitor with traditional hardwired infrastructure.
